Helen’s Chocolate Dessert

How can something so yummy be so simple? I don’t know, but you’ll be saying the same thing after you try this dessert. The first time I had it was when my husband’s grandmother made it. Isn’t she adorable?
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 large box instant chocolate pudding
1 large tub Cool Whip
Shavings from Hershey chocolate bar
Bake cake according to package directions. Next, prepare pudding according to package directions.
Get a big serving bowl. Crumble some cake in the bottom. Top with some pudding, followed by Cool Whip. Repeat layers until bowl is full, ending with Cool Whip. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
Refrigerate. Serve chilled.
