Below are all the photos that have been submitted for the Worst Grade School Photo contest. Please vote by leaving a comment stating which contestant you think has the WORST photo. Only one vote per person (strictly enforced, so pick carefully). No votes will be accepted after NOON CENTRAL TIME ON MONDAY, JANUARY 19TH, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Ya know Lori. I sent you my picture to show how cute I was, not to enter myself in this contest. What exactly are you saying anyway? For the record, I was t.o.’d about my hairdo at the time and that was my private school uniform. I didn’t dress like that.
So anyway, personally, I am sorry number 3, but the combination of the glasses and the faux blue brick background have earned you my vote. Congrats.
p.s. Are you serious? #4 is HOT!

but #003 is getting my vote. If I had my year book up here I might have been worse than him… according to one guy I met in grade school I had a space in my front teeth “big enough to drive a semi truck through.”
And they don’t even make safety glasses that big any more!

I am voting on #3. Lori where is your photo???? I don’t know Julz, but she must be a beautiful grown up as far as I can tell from school days photo. So yeah….#3.
I can’t decide between #1 and #3!!!! I think I am leaning towards #1 though…Sorry #1!!!
Ok, this is definitely pretty funny (and sad, yet somehow painfully familiar)… my parents never sprung for school pictures because they were absolutely horrible (hence the reason I did not submit a photo… but it would have been pretty competitive in this bunch!).

I give mad props to numbers 2, 3 and 6 for pulling off the ability to wear those lovely spectacles…
I feel like I need to buy numbers 1, 2, 4 and 8 a beer and celebrate the fact that they don’t have the same haircuts anymore… or do they?

To all of the participants… you guys ROCK… but the clear winner here (at least in MY opinion) is… (drum roll, please)… NUMBER 7!! Her picture clearly displays the highest number of specific reasons why I (and probably the rest of the population nearing 30 or over) am SO glad that the 80′s are in the distant past.
She is sporting:
1) Middle part, no bangs (leftover from late 70′s, I guess)
2) Pink, button-down, cowgirl-esque shirt with 3/4 sleeves (BEFORE 3/4 sleeves were even a trend!)
3) Fanny pack (and that is the MOTHER of all fanny packs… you go, girl!)
4) Stretchy, pink, high-water pants that may (or may not) be the lower half of a pajama set… note the lovely purple ankle cuffs
5) Black, calf-covering socks
The only thing that could make this more complete would be a gigantic scrunchie in a side-ponytail and leg warmers.

okay, my guess is that #2 and #3 are related, but sorry #3 definitely gets my vote. although, i just read your last comment and since #1 is a girl, it might be a tie!

I am voting for #2, although it was a difficult decision. #1 is the funniest if you know who she is.
Bwah ha ha! I totally see it now. My cousin had his hair like that back in the 70′s. Maybe that’s why I thought she was a boy. My vote is for #2 which I’m thinking is Esther.
I think I know who #1 is…and I love her verrrrry much! Wow! She’s gorgeous….this pic must’ve been taken on an “off” day. :O)

Upon closer inspection, I believe that was in fact a matching pants outfit. The paisly pattern is the same, just a contrasting shade.

Well, I believe I know who number 1 is and I won’t say if it is a boy or a girl. I vote for #1. Confusion for many is enough for me to vote for this person.

I would have to say #3 – I am glad I did not put a picyure in – can you imagine a school picyure from the 1970′s……………..
sooooo torn between numbers 2 and 3… 2 for the awesome hair flip and 3 for the look that says “I look gooooooood” and the spotlight. Sweet. I guess, I’m gonna go with number 3 after much deliberation.
