A busy holiday, indeed.
As mentioned previously on dis here blog, Labor Day weekend is a popular time to procreate. It seems another popular weekend to get jiggy with it is Memorial Day weekend. One weekend kicks off the summer of love, the other weekend brings it to an end. Both are reasons to celebrate in the sack, no? All this to say… I have some birthday shout outs on this brisk Monday morning (wind chill 28 in Florida, WTH?!). Sure, some of you are like, “This post is almost as lame as a recipe. I don’t even know these people!” On my defense, I try to be entertaining even when I know the subject matter doesn’t necessarily spark your interest. Besides, if you pay attention, you’ll get to see a video with an almost-naked woman.
# 1 – Happy belated 30th, Jeana!
Okay, I already said it once, but it’s my blog and I can say it again. We take responsibility for Jeana and her family moving from Destin to Jacksonville, since we helped her husband get a job there. Little did we know they’d actually stay there for nearly a decade. Anyway, she creates cute handmade products. Check out her site and buy some stuff. She misses paradise and is supporting four kids, for crying out loud. Throw her a bone!
# 2 – Happy belated 32nd, Tricia!
We met at our previous church in Jacksonville. First, she and her husband moved back home to Illinois. Then we moved back home to paradise. They wish they had moved where we did, but they prefer corn fields to the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Like us, they have kids as a hobby. The only difference is that their four kids are under the age of 7. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
# 3 – Happy 39th, Brian!
This is my cousin. I call him Cuz. Maybe I should have called my blog seriouslybecuz dot com, but that probably would’ve been difficult for some people to spell. Brian likes to torment people. His wife is nicer than he is. But he redeems himself by letting us stay at his house (which is decorated with antique medical equipment, gas masks, fake poop, and prosthetic limbs… seriously) and occasionally getting us into Disney World for free. Heard that! FYI, Brian, we’re coming there the first week of April. Can we stay with you? Can we go to Disney? Moving right along…
# 4 – Happy 33rd, Hope!

# 5 – Happy 31st, Brian!
This guy is the Creative Arts Director at our church. He’s also a celebrity DJ that gets paid to travel the country. And by celebrity, I mean he’s been the DJ at private parties for people like Tony Hawk and Ian Ziering. Also, Jennifer Love Hewitt once asked him to get her a glass of water… with ice. Oh, and he hooked up with Angelina Jolie prior to Brangelina. Not really, but that would have been something to blog about, fo’ shizzle!

I’ve already mentioned the significance of this guy. His birthday has been on my calendar as long as I’ve been alive, even during our several year hiatus. Because that’s how I stalk people roll.
