Ready, set, go!
I woke up at 2:45 AM to pee. I tried to go back to sleep, but had a contraction. Tried to sleep again, but had another contraction. Then a scripture came to mind: “You have not because you ask not.” Okay. So, I prayed and “reminded” God of this scripture and specifically asked Him (assuming baby is ready) to make today THE day so my family could meet him before they all leave town tomorrow morning. After that prayer, my contractions kept coming. And I could not sleep.
Long story short, I’ve been having fairly consistent contractions, ranging from 3-6 minutes apart, for four hours. I’m packed and ready to go to the hospital, but I think I will wait a little longer to be absolutely sure this is it. I don’t want to get sent home for false labor. I’ll keep you updated!
