Just what I wanted.

It doesn’t take long to discover my love of the beach. Despite this mild obsession, I didn’t want our typical and predictable “family pictures on the beach” this year. Rather, I wanted to experience the awesomeness and creativity of my bestie Amy!

I can’t say that the experience was fun-filled. Mosquitoes were flying into each of our eyes, nose, and mouth, not to mention feasting on our exposed flesh. The field had countless other bugs swarming around us and grasshoppers kept popping up like popcorn. Thankfully, we didn’t see a snake, which I was just sure would happen. The photo shoot was confirmation that I’m not much of an outdoor person. I like it in theory, but being covered in sweat and bug bites makes it lose some of the romance. That aside…

Amy knocked it out of the park! I LOVE the pictures she took and can’t wait to see the rest (this is just a preview). Amy Q, thanks so much for taking these. They will be treasured for a lifetime! Also, thanks so much for the delicious dinner. (I need your broccoli salad recipe!) Love you long time, sister!

You, too, can experience the awesomeness of Amy! Book a photography session today with Ellements Studios.

Omg, you’re funny! I thought your head was going to explode when I told you to sit in the grass! I laughed at your lack of love of sweat and bugs long after you left! So worth it though. Love ya! The salad is from Paula Deen. So easy!
