My Little Artist
I love artwork created by children. (Not crafts. Art. There’s a distinct difference.) Nathan recently brought home some of the artwork he made at school, much to my excitement.
He drew a large bird (ostrich?) eating the leaves off a tree. I like the baby bird resting inside the tree. Precious!

He colored a happy… um… crab? Nice use of color. I like how [almost] all children draw rays coming out of the sun. I wonder why they do that?

Apparently he thinks he’s strong… with hairy armpits?

The beach, complete with toys. His palm trees usually have coconuts. I don’t recall ever seeing coconuts on the palms in Destin. I wonder where his beach pictures take place? Looks like his imaginary beach is having epic surf conditions. And notice the sun has rays again.

Fruit. A lot of fruit. Nice use of color once again. And I like how they’re all outlined.

This one is my favorite… a cat looking out the window. How adorable is that?!

I lied. THIS one is my favorite:

“I love my mom. I love her all the time. She buys me all the food to live and because she loves I love her. Also because she comes up stairs to put me to bed and because she lets me go play with my friends.” – Nathan
Last week Nathan had leftover meatloaf for breakfast (a child after my own heart). The following morning he ate a frozen pancake (without microwaving it). That kid is awesome.
p.s. – Happy birthday, Lauren!
THIS is why i love Nathan, i love him all the time!!!

Ps. This reminds me so much of my once little Skyler. He was quite the artist, too.
PSS.The cat art and the fruit could sell. You should frame them.
I love him and his artwork!! Can’t wait to see more!
Tell Nathan I’ll totally buy his fruit picture. He’s awesome!
Priceless! Love him and loved looking at this.
