Fall Colors

I’ve been wanting to make a trip to the Tennessee mountains each fall for the past few years, but it hasn’t worked out yet. Although the part of the country I live in does have a beautiful fall as far as the weather goes, we don’t have a lot of that “fall color” that I crave. Most of our trees stay green year-round, which is nice, because dead plants do tend to depress me. But there’s something so gorgeous about red and orange leaves that I miss from my childhood growing up in both Virginia and Illinois.Last week I did notice a few colors in my neighborhood as well as my mom’s neighborhood. Thank God I had my camera with me, because these colors will only last about a week!
