Chinese Gender Prediction Chart
Okay, mothers. I’m asking for 100% participation here, so don’t let me down. (That includes all you *silent stalkers* who refuse to comment under normal circumstances.)
My bestie and I were discussing the validity of the Chinese Gender Prediction Chart. We both reproduce as a hobby, so we consider ourselves to be experts. The chart has been wrong for me four times. Although wrong, at least it was consistent, meaning I could use it if and when I continue my hobby in the future (don’t even start with me, haters). Amy, however, said it was right twice and wrong three times (or vice versa, but whatever), so she says it’s not dependable at all. Well, then.
Here’s where I’d like your help, mothers (and I mean that literally, not as pseudo-profanity)… Check the chart below for each of the children you’ve birthed. Then leave a comment and let me know how many times it was correct or incorrect for you.
Disclaimer: Technically, you’re supposed to use your lunar age at the time of conception. To be honest, I’m too lazy to calculate that four times, so I went with my actual age. I realize this could screw up my results, but LISTEN, this chart isn’t, like, scientific anyway, so I got over it and so should you.

It was right for Jess and wrong for Anna and Sarah. Hmmmmm…
If I use my actual age, the chart is wrong.
If I use the lunar age, the chart is correct.
Right once, wrong twice
Ok ill play.
It was wrong for Jacob, but right for Parker and Eden.
It was right with Wyatt and wrong with Austin.
Based on both lunar and actual age, it is correct – girl(s) for me!
Well, based on real year and lunar year, Elijah was supposed to be a girl.
Correct both times for us.
Consistently wrong for both Bailey and Garrett.
okay, the easy quick way – it was correct with my 1st and wrong with the 2nd and 3rd…if i looked up my lunar age, then it was correct with the first two but still wrong on the 3rd. i’m pretty certain that my 3rd was suppose to be a girl…
Mine was right for 3 and wrong for one..I’ll have to let you know if a few wks about this one:)
According to this chart it is wrong for Knox and could be right for Kaeden because she may have been conceived at the end of May (Girl) or beginning of June (Boy) in which case it would be incorrect. I saw a different Chinese Gender prediction chart that was incorrect for Kaeden and correct for Knox. In my opinion, not a reliable source of gender prediction.
I’m lazy and not looking up my lunar age… so, that being said, it was wrong for Mallory and right for Chelsea. If this baby is indeed a girl, which we are 99% sure she is, then it’s also right for her.
Right 3 times for me and wrong twice, but I’m telling you the thing where you add your age at conception with the month you concieved and if it’s odd its a boy and it’s even its a girl has worked all 5 times with me….. just saying.
Will’s is wrong no matter whether I use lunar age or not. Amy’s is right no matter lunar or not although I’m not absolutely sure which month she was conceived in. If it was February it was right, if March, it is wrong. Regardless, we all know it’s bogus but it is fun nonetheless!
Oh, one more thing! If I go by lunar age this time around, I’ll be having a boy in September! If I go by actual age, I’ll be having a girl! I like using the actual age because the lunar age always makes me a year older. My prediction for this baby is boy though based on my cravings and other oddities that I think of often.
uhh… yeah, it was wrong on all 3!
Based on actual age, wrong with Jonathan; right with Justin, Amanda and Jared. I might try it with lunar age.
Right for one, wrong for three.
Wrong on both
Wow, I’m super-impressed with the memory of the people you know. I haven’t a clue when I conceived, I just ended up pregnant a couple of times. I’m also the person who has to make up huge lies when the Doctor asks me the last day of my last period. Like, I haven’t the slightest. Maybe it was a week ago, maybe three?
50/50 for me. Wrong w/ Emma & Right w/ Aubrey. (but that was my actual age @ time of conception, not lunar age – whatever that is?)
