I totally hooked up with someone I met on the internet.
Yes, I realize the title of this post sounds scandalous. But-but-but I can explain, officer!
Angie graduated from my high school the year before me. I actually knew her younger sister Jackie. Awhile back (a year ago, perhaps? I lose track of both time and how many times I eat throughout the day), I stumbled upon Angie’s blog (A Whole Lot of Nothing), which generated many lolz, and I subsequently subscribed to it. After sharing comment love and friending each other on facebook, it felt like we had been friends for years. When in fact, we had never actually met in person.
Angie came to Destin/Niceville this week to have her mama spoil her, and we met for lunch at Fudpucker’s. I like her even better in person! The kids more or less behaved (the “more” applying to her daughters, the “less” applying to my sons), no one got eaten by the ferocious alligators, and we took some pictures (I now covet her camera, FYI).
So, yeah, I totally hooked up with someone I met on the internet. Please don’t hold it against me. xoxo
